The Archery Parents Support Organization is dedicated to fostering an inclusive and thriving environment for all Fort Atkinson Youth Archery Athletes. Our mission is to alleviate financial barriers through community fundraising and sponsorships, ensuring every archer has the opportunity to compete, grow, and succeed.
To maximize the benefit for the greatest number of archers, APSO operates under a "Greatest Good" Philosophy. Board decisions will always be guided by how to best support the entire roster. The organization aims to provide flexible financial backing across all areas of the program to directly reduce out-of-pocket family burdens—including club entry fees, tournament registration fees, team transportation, shared team equipment, range supplies, and elite postseason competition expenses.
Organization Description
By uniting parents, coaches, athletes, and local businesses, APSO is committed to building a legacy of athletic excellence and character development. Together, we ensure that every archer in our community has the resources, support, and opportunity to aim high and achieve their goals.
Operational & Community Goals
APSO serves as the central hub for fundraising and volunteering, absorbing administrative tasks so our coaching staff can focus entirely on athlete development and training. To build a sustainable, community-oriented program, we are committed to:
Community-Driven Fundraising: Focusing on large-scale community events and sustainable corporate sponsorships to complement traditional individual sales.
Collaborative Volunteering: Increasing year-round parent and student involvement to share the workload and keep fundraising efforts impactful.
Youth Leadership: Actively engaging our high school archers by encouraging them to mentor younger athletes and assist with community sponsorship outreach.
