Organization Description
We act as a central point of contact for fundraising and volunteering, allowing our coaching staff to focus exclusively on athlete development. By involving our high school archers in leadership roles and community outreach, we aim to build a sustainable program that fosters life skills alongside athletic excellence.
Operational & Community Goals
APSO serves as the primary support bridge between the Fort Archery Club, the families, and the community. To achieve our financial goals, APSO is committed to:
Eliminating "Sales Fatigue": Transitioning away from individual student sales (e.g., Kringles/car washes) in favor of sustainable community sponsorships and team-wide events.
Coaching Support: Serving as the primary point of contact for fundraising and volunteering to allow Head Coach Jensen to focus exclusively on athlete development.
Student Leadership: Engaging high school archers in community outreach and sponsorship solicitation to build professional communication and leadership skills.
Year-Round Engagement: Maintaining an active presence through both in-season and off-season events to build a consistent funding baseline.
Collaborative Volunteering: Increasing parent and student involvement to ensure fundraising efforts are shared and impactful.
